El Venado - Houston

The menu is pretty basic with not many options other than tacos. Food is good, just wish there were a few more options. Been a couple times for lunch for business meetings and service was spotty. Maybe this is a better dinner spot?

Their vegetarian options are a tad salty, but delicious! And the guac is made to order which is helpful if you have any allergies. The staff was accommodating and friendly and our food came out in a reasonable timeframe. Also there is ample parking which is a plus in Houston. Our server seemed to be new and couldn’t answer a lot of our questions regarding the menu; however, with practice and time I think our server will get the hang of it! Overall it was a 3/5. We would definitely come back. They’re doing well for a new business.
