Bidra med feedbackContinuously closed since December 2016. Heartbroken to see it close! This was the first place I ever had Korean food and she made the best dumplings I've ever eaten!!
As you have seen in previous posts, do not go in if you want fast food. This is the place to go if you want to take time and enjoy the people you are with and take the time to enjoy the food. And trust me, Lordy, this woman can cook! If it's slow, she'll sit at a table right on the kitchen and make the dumplings or grab the beans. These dumplings are delicious! She has help in the kitchen, but she also makes a lot of cooking. They have many secondary dishes and if they are not busy, they will take some time and explain the different foods. Try the Dolsot Bibimbap first if you have never been Korean. BTW, the rice on the ground should be crispy so that simply put the sauce on it and stir. Hey! Also her Kimchi soup is great...love her spicy vege and beef soup too! I can't go wrong here unless you're gone. This is a jewel!
Excellent! Very friendly staff with affordable Korean food.
Love the food, love the atmosphere. The menu has seen better days, but don't be discouraged by that. The food is wonderful! For sure try the Sol Dot Bi Bim Bop and be sure to eat the crunchy rice at the bottom. It is the best part. The first time we went, I was setting it aside but the owner told me that is the part Koreans love the best. It is amazing! Be sure and mix it well after you add the sauce. She brings plenty of sides my fave is the potatoes. Kinda sweet and cool. Don't try to go during the lunch hour on a work day unless you have plenty of time. She has a helper most of the time, but still has to help cook as she serves, runs the register, and handles everything else on the floor. You won't regret going!
This place is great. The menu is small, but the food is fantastic. Only issue you could come across is the timeliness. This restaurant is owned and operated by one woman and occasionally one additional person, as a result you may be waiting for your food or your food may be coming out at different times if you are in a group, but the appraisers make the wait well worth it. I never find it too busy here though occasionally you will have some airport staff from the Korean airlines drop in which could slow things down a bit. regardless the food is great. I highly suggest the pan-fried chicken if you like spicy.
