We will absolutely go back again! Wasn't sure if they were open due to construction out front, but we are glad we didn't drive off!!! My mom (Goma) wanted something without garlic so Gerardo, the owner, came to our table to help find her something. Theyuse garlic in many of the dishes on the menu, but we gave Gerardo some like and don't like and off he went to create a dish justfor her! Kuddos to him!!!! She got an excellent meal thanks to him and his kitchen crew! My husbands fajitas were outstandingand my chimichanga was also. We look forward to trying more of their menu items soon. Mango Margaritas were really good too!
I decided to step out of my comfort zone this time, as I usually order camarones a la Diablo. The presentation of the food was fantastic! My dish was served piping hot and well-prepared, with a great variety that included fish, scallops, crab, shrimp, cheese, peppers, onions, avocado, and cactus. However, I found the flavor a bit lacking. You could tell there was a sauce, but it didn’t have much taste, and each bite mostly highlighted the flavor of the meat itself. Perhaps that’s the intention, as it's a dish I don't typically try, but it just looked too good to pass up! I plan to return and try the camarones a la Diablo to see if that dish has more of the flavors I enjoy. Overall, I’m looking forward to giving it another shot. The atmosphere was great, the staff were attentive, and they offered a wide selection.
I had a great experience with the food today. I ordered the Pollo Quetzal, which came with chicken, bacon, mushrooms, and onions, and I really enjoyed it. My wife opted for the mixed fajitas, and the flavors were delicious. The only downside was that our waitress could have been more attentive. Overall, we had a wonderful visit.
I had an amazing gigantic sandwich made on homemade bread. It was about 5 to 6 inches in size and came with freshly cut fries! They offered a variety of meats—steak, chicken, pork, bacon, and more! It was topped with sautéed onions, bell peppers, Oaxaca cheese, and avocado, with jalapeños on the side. I can’t wait to go back and try something else! This place serves truly authentic Mexican cuisine! Yum yum! You all need to check it out!
