El Padrino - Hot Springs Village

This is like the go to spot for my friends and I, after school got nothing to do? go to Mexican, they are always so sweet and super fast!

We traveled to Arkansas and arrived today. We decided to try a Mexican restaurant. The food we ordered was good. We had good service. Our food came out very quickly too.

Da Godfather would approve... Nice entrees and good service, decent price for it all. The shrimp crab enchiladas were good, topped with melted white queso (cheese).

Standard American-Mexican, but the quality is still much higher than the prices might suggest. Seriously, $30 for three people is incredible. The guacamole was pretty plain and the rice was a little overcooked but everything else was great--especially the shredded chicken--and the service was fast. Not much else I could have asked for.

El Padrino is a must when visiting the Hot Springs area. Upon arriving, we were seated right away. Our server was prompt, kind and catering. He overall did a great job in taking care of us. There are a lot of options on the menu which makes making one decision a bit difficult (only because everything I've had here has been nothing short of amazing). This time I ordered the Pollo Mexicano (pictured) and everything came hot and seasoned very well. El Padrino is a casual, but perfect place to enjoy good food with family/friends. They've been in business for a while and you can clearly tell why.
