Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant is in the middle of the farmland of Faial! The view is amazing, the food is also excellent! Portions are big, if you eat entrees, better to share a dish! We went there twice, and the only downer was the service that the owner was not really talkative... But this was not really important to us...
The products are fresh and really tasty. Big doses and good house wine. It is a bit noisy, small area with a lot of people. Good to eat in the terrace, if you are a couple and you would like to talk a bit, I suggest to choose the terrace, and not to eat inside. If you would like to have good dishes, and flavours of Feial, that's the best spot!
If you're faith in Azorean food is to its low, visit Pasquinha. We stopped here for lunch during our van tour with Pedro and oh my word! The food was just amazing, homemade and all local. The soup was delicious (even with the hot sunny weather) and the tuna steaks! Just go and try some! Make sure you get a table outside, facing the view of the ocean and the valley underneath.
We came here tonight for dinner. We had made reservations and glad that we did so, as the place packed up. We started with their daily soup, it was very good! We all had shrimp meals and all were great, the wine selection was also very good. I was amazed that there was only one server, she did a great job. If you visit Faial, you should visit this great place, which is about 6 miles from Horta. Would we go back, YES!
We spent a couple of days on Faial Island in Cedros and located the restaurant on this site. The food was excellant, the service the same. The second time we ate there the chief came out, since she spoke English, and took our order. She prepared both entries as we requested and the food was excellent. The restaurant is on a hill, so you had a spectacular view of the water from most any table there. Can 't forget to mention that the desserts were also excellent. If you 're in the area this restaurant is a must place to eat .
