Gelados Do Atlantico - Horta

There was no more chocolate left and for two of us it's a catastrophe. We chose coffee as we usually like it but it lacked taste. We picked banana to replace chocolate and none of us liked it. The mango, white chocolate and caramel were only average and overall all the ice creams were too soft and the second scoops too small. This does not compare with italian ice cream.

The homemade icecream is excellent and the espresso and the cappucchino were very good italian style.

We were walking around from our cruise ship and stopped here for some cold ice cream and relaxed. The flavors and quality were good.

Wonderful, eclectic flavors of the Azores we had basil cream, soft cheese fig, tasted several other yummy ones and went back for more! Across the street from a lovely park beside the marina.

Delicious, local ice cream. It is all homemade including the cones and it is all local. Had the chocolate with chilli and salted caramel. Shared it with my husband as normally I’m not an ice cream person but I wish I had, had my own. Children really happy too. Nice to give them a treat which is not full of junk. Thank you Atlantico. We will be back
