The Six Bells - Horsham

Poor to say the least... bar staff rude and couldn't be bothered to even pretend to be interested in clients! Food ****.... got sent back, staff had major attitude about this.... fish and chips.... 9 chips!!!!! 9!!! Sorry but come on! 9!!!! Was shocking, spoke to staff who had massive chip on shoulder!!!!! Hahaha.... more chips on staff shoulders than on plates... won't bother returning

Saturday night no New Zealand savvy b I drink in here regularly (3 or4 times a week) it's not the first time my beverage of choice has been unavailable often there's a lack of pump bottled beer that my partner our friends enjoy. I understand there's a Christmas menu i did see it on Facebook think it's expensive, but can't see any advertising for it. This is a great pub, but current management seem to be wanting to run it into the ground!

I decided to stop in for lunch at this restaurant on a whim, as it seemed like a nice spot. It was clear that they were not prepared for the amount of customers, as there were only two staff members working. Our food took a long time to arrive, and when it did, the portions were huge - enough to feed two people each. I didn't feel like it was good value for money since we couldn't finish half of it. My husband ordered ham and eggs, but the ham didn't seem very fresh - it wasn't the lovely pink color that fresh ham usually is, and it lacked flavor.

The food was reasonable and hot. Off putting was the smelly dog wandering around. We ended up moving but he was still around. Reluctant to return. As I said food was ok but I don’t like dogs!!

I recently tried the mixed grill at this restaurant and it was absolutely delicious, I can still taste it. The bar staff, especially Joan, were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The wines were fresh, kept at the correct temperature, and reasonably priced compared to other places. The locals were a great bunch and very friendly. I plan on trying their Sunday roasts next, as I hear they are sumptuous.
