Horseshoe Bay Resort Yacht Club

Chicken fried lobster with mashed potatoes and gravy and sauteed spinach is worth the stay at the Horseshoe Bay Resort! BBQ Octopus is best octopus dish I've had in a very long time!

Really disappointed! We were guests of the resort and had a reservation (and yes it was made late). We were seated right off the main entry in a side room that was more a hallway with tables than a room. LOTS of foot traffic. Our server was obviously not a fluent English speaker. She couldn 't answer our questions about the menu, and didn 't seem to understand that we both ordered an entree with sides..which came out as an app course. We didn 't know that bread/butter was included, since that also arrived with the 'apps '. All of that and the food just wasn 't that good. Two loaded potatoes were cold, and my fish undercooked. Paid way to much for mediocrity. And to top off the night, was told the shuttle runs every 10 minutes. Maitre d ' said he would call, and we also tried to call after waiting (no answer). Had to walk back the the hotel in the dark.

Busy day on the lake! No surprise on a holiday weekend.

Booked a room for company dinner and had a great time. Very professional staff and fantastic food. I had the Ribeye and certainly recommend it.

We were there for a family reunion and it was fantastic! I loved the view! The food was absolutely amazing! (The sausage had a little extra kick to it! But the staff? They were beyond top notch! They were courteous and friendly, perfectly balancing being around when you needed something, yet never hovering or intruding. I cannot say enough good things about them. It's definitely a treat to go there.
