Ruby Tuesday - Horseheads

I want to start by saying that our waitress (Sarah) was very nice and attentive, I really appreciate that! But the food… I had the Loaded Fries with cheese and bacon as an appetizer and they were okay, but they should’ve had more cheese on them (there was a side of ranch and the ranch was VERY watered down). For my meal I had the Crispy Chicken Mac n’ Cheese and it says the sauce is “homemade” but it honestly tasted like box Mac n’ Cheese. My Dad had the Surf and Turf and the steak was supposed to be an 8oz. steak and it looked like a 6oz. steak, he says it was okay but it could’ve been better. I also had a strawberry lemonade and it tasted like strawberries that were almost going bad (or the actual strawberry syrop might’ve been going bad, I have no idea). To top all of that off, the men’s restroom had water all over the floor. I paid $94 for the food which really upsets me because none of that food was worth that, AT ALL!! I did inform the waitress at the end but honestly there’s nothing that could’ve been done, it seems like all the food in this place is really bad. I do not recommend this place at all, even if you’re starving!

It was my first time eating here. Have always wanted to try Ruby Tuesday. It was delicious and was very surprised with the portion size, it ended up being to meals for me and my daughter. Will definitely go again.

Stopped in for a meal with my family while visiting the area for a golf tournament. Quickly greeted and seated. Excellent waiter from start to finish. Food was absolutely as described and delicious. Great experience overall. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

My husband and I always celebrate special occasions at Ruby Tuesday as we did today 4/12/2023 and we have always been more than pleased with the food service. Today did not turn out to be so pleasant. Our waitress never introduced herself. She wasn't actually rude but we got the impression she'd have rather been anywhere else but there. The chicken tenders is my go-to meal but today it had to be sent back. They had an odd taste which I at first thought might be the dip I asked for but it wasn't so I tried plain ketchup, odd taste still there so I tried one bite just plain and the odd taste was even worse. I came to realise it was the tainted oil they were fried in. The waitress said she had noticed the odd taste herself on occasion. I was offered to choose something else, within reason, of course and she suggested I not get anything fried so I opted for a loaded potato. My hubby always has the salad bar and it was good except for the potato salad. She brought our check, never asking if we wanted dessert or if hubby wanted another beer. As I stated above this was a special to-do and by gosh, I wanted dessert! Waited nearly 20 to 30 minutes for her to return to our table and I Did get the dessert I craved. Don't know if we'll celebrate there again any time soon, sad to say. Change the oil people; rancid is Not good.
