Scatori's Pizzeria Italian

I had a calzone which unfortunately I did not photograph even though it was the best looking dish I have seen in a long time. Good news, it tasted even better. I chose Italian sausage as a filling. It was so big it flopped off the plate. My wife gotvodka pasta and it was also very good but she suggested it was a bit too sweet. I liked it. We also got spaghetti with meatsauce on side which was spectacular. The sauce here is great tasting. Now for the other side of things, service. There wasone person serving at our lunchtime meal. Not sure if it was cause of my calzone, but the wait for lunch was very very verylong. Like I said the food made up for it, but the crowd that day did not equal those kinds of delays. She was really great,buy never gave us an indication that it would be so long or reassure us. All told I will go back for sure.

This place is soooooo good! So upset we didn't try it sooner because we are about to move. So we've ate here twice in the last few days because it is THAT good. We've ordered multiple items from the menu and everything was great. All the ingredients areso fresh and the food was hot (ordered takeout) TRY THIS PLACE! You won't regret it! Oh the smell inside of this place isAMAZING! The garlic knots were sooooo good too.

We called ahead to ask about gluten free options and were told anything that is not fried can be made gluten free. Upon arrival, the waitress informed us that only the risotto could be made gluten free. They have no gluten free pasta or pizza crust. BecauseI could not ensure the risotto was gluten free based on appearance, I ordered a salad. They forgot about my salad and it wasbrought out after the rest of my table finished eating. Everyone else?s food looked delicious, however, and the portions werelarge. The server was very kind.

I have visited Scatori's a few times over the years and the food and service have been pretty good. However, today's visit pushed my meal and service from good to exceptional. I made a special request and they not only catered to my whim, but it wasthe best sandwich I think I have ever had. I recommend others try it and hope they consider making my custom order astaple. Folks fantastic garlic butter and bread ???? I almost tried the cheese pizza but being my first time at Scatori?s I went with the meatballs and spaghetti. Outstanding ?? Great staff and awesome waitresses. Till next time we are a team on an 18 wheelerfor Kohls. Be safe out there everyone we are one of the safe truckers and our lives depend on each other.
