Da's Kitchen Catering - Hopewell

We haven't been with there for a few years. we had great meals. eating was plentiful, and it was delicious. the server was very friendly and helpful.

Da's used to be excellent, I heard from friends that Da has left. Requested Penang curry chicken, medium spicy and scallops. The chicken had been cooked a long time before and added to the curry, that obvious reheated flavor and texture. The curry had absolutely no flavor and had a very unusual smell. The scallops were tiny, rubbery and also not cooked medium. We know Thai food and this is not it. Wondered why we could get a table on a Friday night last minute.

The meal was great. loves that huhn satay. too expensive.

Food was well prepared. Wish I had ordered it a bit more spicy a 2 wasn 't very spicy!

We made reservations since it was Saturday night. We were seated right away. It was absolutely freezing in the restaurant most people were eating with their coats on. After sitting for 30 minutes and not having our order taken (and watching at least two tables that were seated after us have thier orders taken) I finally got the attention of the server who took our order. My husband's soup came out, and then within a few minutes our entrees came out he didn't have time to barely start eating his soup. We are both vegan, and my husband's dinner was obviously chicken and not the tofu he ordered. The took it back and brought the correct entree. The food was fine nothing special. it was also too expensive for the type of food as well as the atmosphere. I will definitely not go back.
