Bidra med feedbackWe had a wonderful celebratory breakfast at The Wild Carrot. Service could not have been better, food excellent and all round a fabulous experience. Hope to visit again soon
Perhaps one of the best Sunday Lunches I’ve enjoyed in my 73 years !! This is a carvery with a smorgasbord of superb staters finest smoked salmon I’ve ever tasted together with exquisite “tasters” of delicious treats. The main carvery offered joints of beef melt in the mouth , together with the choice of lamb and chicken with all the trimmings. The deserts were from a large selection of varied treats. Service and ambience were spot on and we were really impressed and can’t wait to return.
Having read other mixed reviews I wasn’t sure what to expect, but we weren’t disappointed. The menu choices were somewhat safe, but what we had was beautifully cooked, good flavour combinations and with generous portions. There was a small but well chosen selection of quality wines by the glass (we prefer to pair wine to the course, rather than drink a whole bottle of one wine). The service from all staff was faultless. Not cheap by any stretch, but you know in advance what the prices are, so bill not unexpected.
Lovely evening which us as a group of 6 all enjoyed but the bill was eyewateringly expensvie. £800 for three courses, a bottle of champagne and one bottle of red wine. Sparkling and tap water.
This is by far the best Sunday roast I have ever had, the staff payed the perfect amount of attention, the food was absolutely top tier, the restaurant area felt a very nice spacious level, the grounds surrounding the place were beautiful. I could not recommend the Wild Carrot highly enough!
