Taormina Sicilian Cuisine - Honolulu

This is an excellent restaurant and seems have a niche in its integration of Italian and Hawaiian food cultures. Excellent service and very tasty food with a great wine list.

Please don’t expect Sicilian food. This is American restaurant. Ordered carbonara with truffles, got something creamy with overcooked pasta.

A nice intimate atmosphere with a wide selecton of appetizers and entrees accompanied by attentive service. A nice experience that I plan to repeat.

It was a busy Friday night in Waikiki and we had a difficult time to get to restaurants because we forget to make every dinner reservation. A call to Taormina and they could get us a table within 5 minutes. The food was excellent and her wine selection was great. They surprised us with a free dessert when we told them it was our 20-year anniversary. Great waiters and great atmosphere. We recommend this place very much.

Highly recommend but do make a reservation, it's usually quite busy. The bolognese moderno tiramisu were the best I've had anywhere
