Nana Ai Katsu - Honolulu

Great place for katsu! Their standard tonkatsu is great, and though some of their more inventive menu items might seem weird, they were tasty as well! Pleasantly surprised with how the ramen katsu okonomiyaki tasted. The prices are a bit on the high side, especially for the bentos, but the portion size is pretty good. I wish that they offered their special menu items more often or expanded their main menu to include more of these items.

I've had this place tagged a while ago and have been meaning to try it. The prices are reasonable and the food was good. I ate the Uzumaki Shiso Katsu Roll Bento. I would order this again. Right now it's only take out.

This place has some amazing Katsu. Who knew layering thin slices of pork could turn out so good. We don?t live on the islands, but this place is on our list to come back to whenever we are back in the area.

I stopped by this place today. Since I sew some posts at Instagram, I wanted to try their Katsu. My target was uzumaki shiso katsu, but it was sold out. (Recommend to place an order early! But I got the popular menu, Kurobuta kasane tonkatsu. It was tender and tasty! Also, got spam katsu musubi and takoyaki katsu boat. They were good, too. Next time I will call and place an order early!

From their start in Ohana Market Place to their current permanent residence in Kaimuki, this has been a must go to place whenever you are in the area. Recommend to call early and make a reservation especially if you are interested in trying one of their daily specials. Friendly staff, great food, and good portions.
