Koko Head Cafe - Honolulu

Koko moco was decent. Cornflake French toast is to die for. It was amazing. The POG juice is great. Passion fruit juice was sour.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at KHC this morning. We sat at the bar and our service from everyone was excellent. You can tell it's a homey, comfortable space lots of locals hi fiving the staff and a really fun tradition of the kitchen celebrating cash tips if you're into that). Parking wasn't awful, but we did go at a slightly weird time Monday at 11am). We parked on the street at a meter $1.50/hr). There's a really good reason everyone talks about the French toast... My partner has a fin fish allergy and the kitchen was extremely careful and cognizant of what he could/could not eat and in our experience, not all places would be so mindful. We had a comfortable, delicious meal here and given the opportunity would come back again and again.

The pancakes were divine! The volcano eggs were a fun mix of flavors. Everything was fresh and hot. Loved it!

Always a favorite for creative brunch food! The Don Buri Chen and Cornflake French Toast are excellent!

I really liked their take on French Toast floating while covered with bacon and ice cream. The food was delicious, though a breakfast item plus a coffee (plus tax, fee and tip) comes out close to $40 per person. Is it overpriced? Maybe, still worth to try the dishes once!
