Bidra med feedbackReally enjoyed our dinners after a sunset cruise, about a half mile away. It was hot, fresh, and tasted great. It was Father’s Day, and it was a nice ohana gesture to give all the Dad’s a lei. We’ll be back.
The menu offers a breadth of Asian choices, with slightly elevated prices for the value and somewhat standard quality. The atmosphere is trendy fun. Service is attentive.
Panya Bistro is mainly an Asian/Asian fusion restaurant with Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai dishes. They also have non-Asian selections such as burgers, sandwiches, and pasta. On this visit, we had ramen dishes (miso ramen and pork chop ramen). The noodles were good, but the broth was bland. The restaurant also has a bakery and a bar. They have seating inside and outside. We sat inside and it was noisy. Tables were close together. Reservations are highly recommended as the restaurant does fill up quickly.
Relaxing place for a nice meal. Good food, good service, and reasonable prices. The outdoor seating option is fine, but the wind can be a bother for some. Easy parking in the back (on the left side when facing the building). There are a few free parking spots for the public after 6pm just before the parking gate if you time it just right. You can enter the restaurant directly from the parking lot (without walking around to the front) if you see the striped door.
We had a great laksa plus other Chinese dishes in this place for a celebratory dinner one night in May 2019. We even got free desserts. Drinks are great, and the food choices and tastes are fantastic. Make sure you have a booking as they can get pretty busy.
