Bidra med feedbackI went back there in 2020 was not too good again I tried to improve little in 2022, but still I am not impressed when they know the small piece about Indian food and taste. this place is not professional. they concentrated only on food colors and msg whole amount of masala to make gravy, that's it. I ordered biryani it was like 3rd grade fried rice and also mixed tanduri goats n hühner curry simply naan roti none of these items were average they did not even know quality of the dishes and how it is totally unhealthy. trust me after they eat her in the night desperately thirsty. I don't know what you're doing, but I personally don't go.
G r a t e f u lask for sonnydefinitely my favorites waiter ask for him when they make reservations this place has so much aloha we set on the balcony and enjoyed the brise so many different possibilities for sitting the menu is overwhelming so many possibilities that we have made good by simply sunny surprises sonny is a big entertainer we could make him
Eating is good overall, but not exceptional. the chicken vedaoo was a bit dry and had no deep. biriyani seems like fast food quality and also the rice was much over cooked and almost mush. but the goat and the aubergine were very good and so was naan. service is met and miss it is very attentive a moment, then they feel left alone in times.
Have great hopes on this place. the atmosphere is 10 out of 10! that was upsetting me when it came to eat. I have the butter chicken I find is a good indicator for a good Indian restaurant and it was just ok. wait the staff seemed confused, I was waited by 4 different people and the naan was also good. they also accused me of tearing on the butter chicken I have never seen. Maybe they come back to try some Nepali food, but not the Indian food.
The Himalayan Kitchen is in a shopping center in the former India Café. They offer outdoor seating, take-out, and delivery. My daughter chose this restaurant because she is a vegan and enjoys Indian food. Expect to wait 20 to 40 minutes as the food is prepared when the order is placed. Looking through the window, it must have had limited seating inside prior to Covid. My husband and I ordered the lunch hour special Chicken Tikka Plate, chicken marinated in spices, grilled and served with basmati rice and curry of the day, for $13.95 each. Spice levels range from one to 10. The level 5 was American-spicy. This dish was good. My daughter ordered the garlic naan 3.50), Biagan Bharta (eggplant (14.95 and Himalayan Dai (yellow lentils 12.95) and was very happy with her choice. The total was $70.50 including tip.
