Blane's Drive Inn - Honoka'a

It's great for Loco Moco type of cuisine, which is rice with an egg and a main dish of your choice. They're not quite clear on this I ordered their Teriyaki Burger expecting a bun, but got just a patty it still was a cheap and tasty lunch.

My boyfriend and I eat here all the time *partially because we live on a farm closeish* I'm a vegetarian and the garden burger is amazing, my boyfriend gets the teri burger and says it's good also. Its decently priced and other than a slight wait it's good.

Now, back to the food! They have combo options, so if you're indecisive, you can sample multiple dishes. I tried the katsu and the hamburger steak, both of which were delicious and full of flavor. My friend ordered the curry stew, which was a lighter version of Japanese curry; the aroma was fantastic, and he polished it off completely. My wife and daughter had the hamburger steak with gravy (similar to loco moco) and enjoyed every bite as well. Despite the outdoor seating situation, our visit was well worthwhile and left us smiling!

Wow! The food here was amazing! I tried the Korean Katsu and the Fried Mahi plates, and they were both delicious! For dessert, I enjoyed cookies and cream ice cream and a strawberry slush float. Fantastic food, excellent service, and great value!

This is a nice spot for a drive-in restaurant in rural Hawaii. I tried the garden burger, and it was tasty.
