Bidra med feedbackI loved the menu at this restaurant! I was really excited for the food to arrive. However, I was disappointed with the tiny portions and high prices. I paid almost 500 HKD for a small cup of broth, a single bao bun, and mapo tofu with eggplant. I was still hungry after finishing the meal.
The restaurant offers beautiful food for vegans, vegetarians, and those with gluten sensitivities. The lunch sets come with generous size starters and a large main course. The tea was well-prepared and the atmosphere was lovely. Reservations are accepted or you can walk in. This was my second visit, and I went during a weekday lunch. I was seated right away and didn't have to wait long for my meal.
This restaurant's dishes were all exquisitely prepared and presented with a modern twist on classic Chinese flavors. The combination of deep fried eggplant on top of mapo tofu was a delightful blend of my favorite local dishes, and the kale rice was a fresh take on Chinese vegetable rice. The sweet and sour "pork" made from hedgehog mushrooms was juicy and flavorful. The liangpi with shredded shrooms was also delicious. The only downside was the price, as I wish it were more affordable so I could dine here every week.
Afternoon tea tasted quite underwhelming but really appreciate the creativity and inspiration behind a Chinese style afternoon tea, that’s vegan! Very unique. Tastes were homogenous across the dishes and often too sweet or too bland, room to improve!
Wow, where do I start? each court here was exquisitely well prepared and presented. they love the modern idea to all classical Chinese oriented! the deep fried aubergine on the top of mapo tofu mixed my two favorite dishes in – paired with kale rice, a whole rendition of the classic Chinese cuisine. the sweet and acidic “pork” made of hedgehog pilz was also pure skill and taste. if it were just more affordable. I would go every week.
