Bidra med feedbackWe were told to take a seat to be served. We waited, and we waited....a waitress cleared some tables nearby, glanced at us then disappeared. We waited some more, then left without ordering. We don't mind waiting some time, especially when we're on holiday, but this was ridiculous, it was not even busy!
In fairness the waitress had a lot of people to serve, but it did take a long time to order and to get breakfast. everything was good when it did arrive tough. Also very inexpensive.
We had one breakfast here, the cafe was filled with locals and the staff was mostly spanish speaking and helpful. Menu was easy to understand. Lots of great pastry, we had breads, juice coffee. Inexpensive, lots of character.
They gave us gazpacho it was nothing like! Ugh. Luckily they realized the chef hadn 't a clue and did not charge. They just added the cost onto the plate of prawns so they were about £5 each! I am not sure that they know what they are doing the waiters were in a total daze so even if you have a sea view, please do not bother.
This excellent cafe bar is situated in in of the best places in Hondarribia The breakfast experience is second to none, especially the tostada con marmalade and cafe con leche. They also serve the best sandwich mixto ever !!
