Art Cafe - HOLT

Discovering the Art Cafe was a delightful experience. Nestled in a cluster of barn buildings, this hidden gem was bustling with customers on the weekday we stopped by. Despite the busy atmosphere, the staff graciously attended to our needs. The food and service were top-notch, and the staff was incredibly friendly. After struggling to find decent vegan options throughout Norfolk all week, stumbling upon this eatery felt like finding an oasis.

The restaurant primarily serves vegetarian dishes and tends to be on the pricier side, but the food is consistently good. It would be great if they could expand their selection of vegan options, but they frequently offer vegan cake and a variety of non-dairy milk choices.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and there is a wonderful bird-themed gallery next door. Unfortunately, there were limited options for vegans even though it is a vegetarian café. I tried a spicy tomato and aubergine soup, which was decent. The lemon drizzle cake I had afterwards was also alright, though a bit dry and heavy. The coffee, however, was excellent.

We had a lovely lunch here clearly very fresh ingredients and a great setting. Very yummy vegan options!

We were searching for vegan food in the wilds of Norfolk, visited this cafe to a splendid surprise! Vegan soup of the day delicious; great selection of vegan gluten free cakes; and some decent main meal options. Add in a chilled atmosphere friendly staff don't miss it if you're in the area!
