Bidra med feedbackVery nice place as I have visited many times over the last 10 years. It is a special experience every time I think. There are no many places with the history, the buildings and not least the food you get here! Definitely 5 stars
Great surroundings. Friendly and welcoming staff at the reception. Sleep really good in an excellent bed. The warmest recommendations.
Nice historic place where H.C. Andersen was on his first Jutland tour. Never have we seen so many winter hedges. We just went a nice walk in the area. Nørre Vosborg H.C. Andersen took on Jutland's voyage on 20 June 1859 and returned to Zealand on September 12. He started his journey by traveling over Korsør-Århus to Silkeborg and stay at Drewsen for 4 July. The next destination was Nørre Vosborg, where he was invited by A.E.M. Tang. Andersen stayed at Nørre Vosborg from 5.-21 July and here they held a party for him with over 100 invited guests. Andersen's adventure “A story about the dunes” is inspired by his visit to the Tang family who owned Manor at this time. In H.C. Andersen's diary, it is possible to read more about Andersen's visit 5th-21 July at Andreas Evald Meinert Tang, on the party with 100 guests to honor H.C. Andersen, his excursion to the North Sea and Husby Præstegård and about Tang's stories that made him inspires "A story of the dunes". Andersen wrote a poem during his stay, which was set up on a board in a townhouse in the garden. After Andersen's visit to Nørre Vosborg he went to Fjaltring Præstegård and took a excursion to Bovbjerg on 21 July. From here he went to Lemvig on 23 July, on the Limfjord past Struer and Thisted to Aalborg. On the big Jutland voyage. About Nørre Vosborg "... again, there must come west from a man wrapped in a blue cloak, which will bring the tower to the hill and fall." How was a dunkel sound about the original Vosborg. It was given to one of the first known owners, Niels Bugge, in the 14th century. And it turned out to be right. In the 16th century, a storm flooded over the yard, so it sank into the earth, and the yard was never rebuilt at the same place. It was moved further into the country where Manor is located today.
