Bidra med feedbackService was slow to sit, serve, and quite expensive for what you get. The staff was pretty friendly and the food was good. I came to breakfast. Had a Belgian waffle and coffee. Coffee was pretty good for drip coffee. When I return, I'll try something new and report back. The outdoor seating area is beautiful and has a partial view of the pool and the canal.
I have eaten here for lunch over the weekend, and I tell you the food was excellent, the drinks were cold and full, but what really blown away was the service. My friend and I had the opportunity to be served by Jose Torres at the bar, and he didn't disappoint. I was impressed by how attentive, accurate and punctual his service was. I will definitely return to Port South Bar Grill, and I would definitely recommend that someone eat there to ask for "Jose with the light eyes. ‘
We came to breakfast and everything was perfect. April the hostess was wonderful as our server Alejandro. The view outside was nice and the food is delicious. Breakfast Spanish packaging and Belgium wafers are a must.
We chose the restaurant because we arrived later in the evening and we were at the hotel. The place was relaxing with only a few groups. They had a bar that provided a quick service in the restaurant. Our waiter was immediately and friendly with great recommendations. They have recently updated their menu so that what we have seen on the Internet was not exactly what we have seen there, but still good; I have uploaded a picture of the new menu. We started with their Chowder, which contained several proteins and tasted like Minestrone, very good. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Tacos, very tasty and cooked for perfection, would recommend. My wife had fries and simple chicken wings. The frit had a good taste and were cooked well. Her wings were a different story. Half was over boiled and dry / falling from the bone and eating hard. The other half was big, the lack of consistency is why I marked the stars down. We were able to load the meal in our room, and the congratulations have already been added, so we do not need to worry about it. I would recommend it.
This restaurant is part of the Doubletree Hotel. The hotel discontinued their free breakfast due to COVID-19 so you were allowed at $12 credit at the restaurant (only if you were a platinum member to the hotel, so if course we had to pay). Understandable. Being from the West Coast we wanted to eat a later breakfast and they just stop serving breakfast early. The dinner service stopped at 5:30. The one meal that we ate there was mediocre. Service was fine.
