I tried to order a salad today, but the person behind the counter did not understand English. She got a manager, but the manager couldn't understand English either. I found that incredible. How do you run a company in a country where you cannot speak the language? After some hin and her I went out. Very disappointing. I ate here a few times a week. I'm not going back.
Fast service and friendly staff. Large selection and salad and ingredients always fresh.
I only give 3 stars because I absolutely love the food and all the options. But every time I call the Miramar location, the staff doesn't want to pick up the phone. I usually call right before I leave my house and it takes 20 minutes to get to this place and the whole trip where I call and nobody wants to pick up. So I went in to get my food though I ran very late and I tried to call while I was inside and I can hear the phone ring and all the staff completely ignored the phone. How many customers do they lose by not picking up the phone to place phone orders? I asked the girl if I had the right number, even if I knew I did that because I called eight times and I showed her the amount of times I called that she said she didn't pick up the phone when we were too busy. I told her I only see a person standing in front of me, and that's not an excuse. You have to pick up the phone so people have to place phone orders they are able to do that. Another customer standing at the utensils said she called and it also rings. The staff that was there this afternoon seems to be lazy. I own a little business and the reason I'm in my business every single day is because I don't want any lazy employees associated with my income. It seems to me that they should make some changes to the personnel equipment if they want to increase their productivity.
If only I could leave the stars blank because this place does not deserve a single one. I order a salad with romaine lettuce I had no idea about the e coli outbreak yet). As I was walking out of the location I happened to be on the phone with my husband, he told me about the issue with romaine lettuce and said it should not be served or consumed. I immediately returned inside the restaurant and politely asked to have my salad re done without romaine lettuce. I was told no. I wasn't even offered a refund. I left the restaurant and threw my lunch away. I am very displeased with the way this was handled. I will not be returning to that restaurant ever again. As it is this was me giving this location a second chance, as I have gotten sick after eating here in the past and on another occasion was served ROTTEN tuna. I'm am extremely disappointed once again.
