Derry's Family - Hollywood

This restaurant is a MUST visit when visiting Hollywood Florida. We get tired of the resort food and always find local soul food. This was our 3rd visit. Will definitely return. Full review on our youtube DAVIS314

Food used to be good grits was cold fish was horrible not even season.. they gave me a broke plate with my toes

Chile the food was nastyCatfish- nastyGrits- nastyEggs- nastyThe only thing that was decent was my pancake but that wasn’t even all that. They forgot to put cheese on my eggs and on my grits. Everything was flavorless and overpriced. Will not be returning

The atmosphere is homey and quaint. Staff was nice and courteous. Food was amazing.!!

I’ve had Derry’s before, always on point. Today however, I had a serious craving for liver and onions so I ordered. That liver and onions took me back to my childhood when my grandma used to make it. It was so good. I work close by and we order from time to time but this was my first time having liver and onions from Derry’s. Only thing is now I have to make it through the rest of the day at work. When a meal is so satisfying and fulfilling, you just want to lay down and take a nap and that’s what I want to do now after that breakfast. Thanks Derry’s for an amazing meal as always. I usually always add pictures to my reviews, but by the time I thought to take a picture the food was gone lol.
