Runas Peruvian Cuisine - Hollywood

Kids pasta with pesto was good. Aji de gallina and causa de pollo very good. Huancaína sauce, not good, too watery, not much flavor. Chupe de camarones not that milky but full of flavor, very tasty.

Meat was bland, tasted as if lightly salted and very chewy. I would suggest cooking smaller chunks of steak for the lomo saltado (beef and potato stir fry). Pasta sauce on the Alfredo was very bland, just tasted like butter/oil. Seasoning was hit or miss on the other entrees I ordered. The seafood that we ordered not recommended. Maybe today was an off day I'll try to order again another day.

Really disappointed. its like canned meat soup on top of boxed rice. It was made with low tough meat not filet. definitely not what i expected from the picture and description.

The Runas Special Fried Rice hit the spot at the end of a long vacation day! Good portion of eggs and seafood, and the hoisin sauce reduction gave it just the right amount of sweetness.

Runas is exceptional! Truly excellent food! We ordered the grilled octopus, mixed seafood ceviche (absolutely amazing) and fish dinner. Victor, our server, was highly attentive and gave excellent recommendations. The bar tender made superb Pisco sours.
