Granato's Gourmet Market - Holladay

Arrived yesterday 3:45 pm. No one at any 3 of the food counters; stood in front of the register over 5 mins before someone sitting several tables away came over asking if I was ready. Requested tuna sandwich (on the menu , they don't make that anymore. Asked for Pallollo (sp? panini, they were out of the meat. Found something they did have ingredients for (although they had to verify with worker who'd been hanging out back with the door open , who then prepared my sandwich. Did not follow proper food handling protocol (although he did wear gloves, he did not have a hat or a hairnet on. Food was fine, although overpriced for what it was. Quite disappointed with the experience likely will not be back.

Pizza was delish! Not too much sauce, which is generally what you find elsewhere. Highly recommend.

The space feels like a big city food hall, fast service however, I have to say the quality of food has gone down a decent amount. The cuts of deli meat just seemed very basic and very salty. I got the Italian combo and it was very one-dimensional. I mean I get it’s a deli sandwich, but it is a $12 deli sandwich best part about it was the bread and I was still just OK. They have done a great job with the space and plenty of parking is always nice

Was hoping for the sandwiches to be like they were back when this was the market. Bread was not great and soggy. My buddies had only one slice left of meat.
