Coffee And Cocoa - Holladay

Based on the good reviews, I'm not sure if our disappointing experience is uncommon here. The cold brew tasted like water, the breakfast burrito was nothing I couldn't make at home, not bad but nothing great, and they forgot to put bacon on the breakfast sandwich. Ended up dumping our coffee after a few sips and went somewhere else to get our morning fix. Also, it was very busy and they were not taking names for orders, even when I asked, so no one was certain if it was their order ready or someone else's.

Went in on a Thursday and the people working were helpful, kind, and quite funny! I’ve come in plenty of times and I’ve always enjoyed the service and food, (I’m partial to their iced mocha and the American bagel but their other menu items are amazing as well) the atmosphere is perfect for a quick afternoon of reading, and the view of the mountains is stunning.

Was excited to try this place because their images on Google show a lot of different pastry items. Was disappointed when they had hardly anything pictured. The employees were loud and goofing off while I waited 18 minutes for an egg and cheese croissant. When I went up and asked about my order the girl said it was forgotten in the microwave and I watched her click another 30 seconds to reheat it. Not food safe and disgusting. Loud, obnoxious workers who forget they’re at work combined with eggs that had been sitting for 18 minutes then reheated. The worker asked how long I’d been waiting and said “I’m sorry,” to her benefit she was nice but not very trained in customer service. I’m never going to this place again and I wouldn’t advise anyone else to.

Great customer service. Always happy, helpful employees. I love to ask my batista for their recommendations and they are always pleased to help and give great ideas. Love to stop here when I'm up that way.Service: 5/5

The coffee was good, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service and incredible atmosphere. With plenty of natural light, outlets everywhere, and kind employees, this coffee shop is a dream for productivity. It has become my go-to spot, and for all these reasons and more, I give it a well-deserved five-star rating.Food: 4/5
