Hocksteinschenke - Hohnstein

To my birthday on the day of Pentecost I got an excellent meal despite many guests in the restaurant. all my guests were full of praise. all dishes were served quickly and in best quality. the service was competent and very friendly. the locality is absolutely recommended. the team continues all good and many nice guests. b.

This restaurant has a particularly fair price-performance level with a view, and is a medium between restaurant and snack. Although it also has a midday offer, this is actually smaller (but does not mean that it is behind qualitatiw, rather proves it in a disgusting sense its superiority; the rather less freshly prepared than frozen.

As I once again had to do in Dreden, and this beautiful city has once again moved to the countryside as a nature lover. The nature park Sächsische Schweiz with its famous rock formations, the rivers, the castles and the good and favorable possibilities of return have been particularly helpful to me. This time, my choice fell to the Hocksteinschänke in Hohnstein. The restaurant is situated in a wonderful isolated location in Rathewalde, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The decor is in wooden block planks, original in Alpine style with a lot of bright wood and cow fur. Previously, I was told that there was a postal carriage station for the travellers on the way to Dresden First mention Anno 1797 Today, in addition to the cozy guest room, a beer garden and a children's playground are invited to stay. Here you will find tasty home cooking, civic food,fish, vasper dishes, regional specialties, ice cups, coffee and cakes, salads, soups, and also for our small fellow citizens there is of course a separate menu. We invited to try typical dishes of the region Soljanka sweet soup, as I already knew from Russia with paprika, lots of onions and garlic and sausage insert large portion, to get fed. Omlett with spices very tasty, have to trust the decision of the service and order the regional specialties not regretted, especially since the prices are cheap and the servings are delicious

The lunch is highly recommended homemade, fresh and tasty. from the beer garden they have a beautiful view of the rock landscape. behind it is a beautiful winter garden when it becomes too windy. also the service was friendly and very painful:

I recommend a pre-order there, because here often the motorcycle friends meet in the serpentinen hohnstein and the old racing route. the moaning of their motors should have already fallen... otherwise here is a living house with long tradition and good eating to begin or finish its tour in the Saxon Switzerland. is additionally mentioned the very good value for money.
