Bidra med feedbackI felt hungry on my journey from atlanta to montgomery when I had to take off the road and search for somewhere. there were a few restaurants that were attached to a refueling raststätte, but I was in the mood for a little adventure. my trip led me to the historic quarter hogansville, alabama. the pub is not easy to find. I had to circle the block twice to find him, but I'm sure I did. it is near the railways because it is apparently built in an old railway building. really cool! behind the bar were ty, a serious but very friendly bar-tender who looked out the part and cristi, his very brighthearted counterpart with a contagious laugh. I sat a few moments before I ordered a burger with pfirsich and Jalapeño-Chutney and a Mac and cheese with spinat and artichoke. if you have read my other reviews, you will know that I am a medium-sized type, and the reason why I can't give the pub is a full 5 stars because they can only order their burger medium too well-done the burger was quite good if not a bit messy (I recommend a fork and knife about it as sandwich eating). I don't know if I'll ever be back in hogansville, but if I am, I'll grab another bite in the pub.
This is a major cool spot! It is in the old train depot. They have a fire pit outside so you can stay warm if you want to chill. They open at 4pm, they have two bars, they do have a live band on the weekends. The food!! Amazing!! I am not a hamburger lover, however I had the Swiss mushroom burger thing OH MY TASTE BUDS were in FLAVOR HEAVEN!!! Even the fries were great! I recommend this cute spot. Great find in a little city!
Listen. Go here. You won't regret it. Usual bar or American style with unique spins. Ordered the Burger with the Georgia peach chutney (with Jalapenos), fries, and the spinach artichoke mac-n-cheese; to die for...all incredibly delicious. Located in an old train depot, you are not sure what to expect when walking into the door, but soon are greeted by friendly staff and warm atmosphere. They have a variety of seating options: bar-like, some more intimate, and other spots in a train car. So glad we came.
Very cool little spot. Went for the Valentine's special. Food was delicious and filling. Pretty good beer on tap too. I'll keep looking for maybe some live music or something like that too because the setup is perfect for it.
Real nice place to drink a couple of beers with the boys. Confortable seats and great drinks. Great location near the main street.
