Bidra med feedbackCategory 2: 5 to 10 ha winery Mitter Velten for the year 2014 Martin Mitter has built up a beautiful beef protected from 3 pages here in Hochheim in Frankfurter Str. Inside there is approx. 120 seats, as well as in the outdoor area – there are about 60 seats which are partly equipped with thermal radiators under large parasols. You can also sit in the open at cooler temperatures. The farm of the winery is beautifully equipped with palm trees and flowers. Ms. Mitter is in the kitchen and prepares the delicious dishes. The winery has already won many awards in gold, silver and bronze of the land of Hesse for its wines and champagne. From 26 to 29 May 2016 is Hoffest with many treats around the wine. On the journey from Rüsselsheim to Hochheim it became quite dark in the sky, Radio FFH reported strong rain and thunderstorms, which should be devastated from the Taunus above the Rhine Main area. We came to the courtyard dry foot and asked if there was room for a woman. But after taking a short seat we prefer to take a seat on the beer table set in a garage that was specially freed for the Hoffest. The operators and the boss – Martin then freed the tables and beer tent sets from the flower decoration with table numbers and brought them to safety. It has threaded and rained but the great weather has fortunately not hit the place. At Hoffest part self-service is always recommended – drinks self-service. Beverages: We had Hochheimer Reichestal Spätburgunder Weißherbst Kabinett semitrocken 0.3l at 3,50€ the wine choirle white was awarded with the Golden Price Coin LWP 2015 at 3,50€ for me. Food: The order had to be given with the table number at the counter, and then was served by the operators. A portion of pork fried with onions as an appetizer at €6, which we shared for the third, 2 times home maker Bratwurst at €4.50 serving with fries at €2.50 and a supplement salad at €3.50. A portion of “Rheingauer Spargelröllchen” with cooked ham and baguette at 7€. As agreed with the service, the mett was delivered as an appetizer and then the other food should be served. Everything worked well. The pigmett was sufficient for us and tasted as always very good. Unfortunately no photo of today but from an earlier visit. The coarse sausage is made from its own production and according to traditional recipe. For me she has a very strong taste, but not big or long. But it always tastes me, it is served with a dark sauce and candy. The pommes could have worn a little more color, but were still good. The pickle salad with green salad, cucumber slices, peppers, onion, tomatoes, eggs, etc. Croutons tasted the daughter well. The Rheingauer Spargelröllchen was according to the taste of the woman. We are often a guest here and are always happy when we can get a place in the free.
