The Ainsworth Hoboken

So the food was actually incredible. I had the burger and it was amazing but the I ordered a margarita. I went in a little drunk already and I lost my buzz while drinking the margarita. I was disappointed how weak the margs were.

I ordered the cheeseburger and Mac and cheese. The burger was huge and really delicious. My friend ordered guacamole and hummus, and a fried calamari. I liked my food the best. It was my first time to the Ainsworth. Nice place by the waterfront. You can take amazing pictures at night with the NYC skyline. Gorgeous at night. It was too humid so I sat inside. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are mainly Latinos but very hardworking, polite, and helpful if you have any questions. The vibe is a chill atmosphere, as chill as you are going to get. Overall the place is good but overpriced.

I came with 5 people at 3 pm on a Saturday and the wait staff looked like they were having a break. No one at the hostess desk, waiter literally runs away and does not want to take our orders. We ordered the trio dip and chips were stale. We asked for a second order of chips that they charged for and they finally brought it after our meals were served and were still stale. Fish tacos tasted like dried out frozen fish. Poop on the tables. The only good thing was the guys that cleaned off tables. They hooked us up with an extra umbrella because there were birds in the tree right above our table pooping ugh! I gave them some points for those hard working guys.

I visited this place as a group 2 weeks ago while on a visit from Kenya, my friends were from Canada. The service is top class, I wish I could remember our servers name (a young lady). The food was all very tasty and came really fast which surprised me. We sat inside as it was too hot and humid outside but i'm thankful we did because the vibe of the place is really cool. We went for lunch. Vegetarian options: There was a tasty vegetarian burger that my friend really liked. They don't leave out vegetarians.

I went to eat at this restaurant, and the service was wonderful. I loved the food; each dish was delicious and well-presented. It’s definitely a place I’ll return to. Highly recommended!
