Bidra med feedbackLarge eclectic, intimate restaurant that feels like a cross between Pub/Steakhouse/old Country Dance Hall. New favourite place in Hobbs for dinner. I had the Caesar salad and shrimp Alfredo. Both were excellent! Very recommended!
How many reviews say it is in an old hotel. Excellent food, but dated decor and the coating is still in the 1980s. We got the Sautéed mushroom that was very good, but the part was definitely for 3 or more people. The pablano potato soup was savory and it did not feel like canned soup and more of the light European style potato soup. The salad was well made and you could see that it was placed in the placement of every veggie. It was a mixture of spring mix and raw heart with cherry tomatoes and black olives. They didn't use the stems. it was only delicate shoots rather the outer leaves. The only thing that was done on a more beautiful or updated plate like a square modern plate. total visual effect would have been better. Now main course: the new York stripe was well seasoned, but not exaggerated with spices. There was a piece of Gristle, but the rest was excellent and the Grill Char was just right to give him a touch of Smokiness. The rib was a surprise. It wasn't the best cut you expected from the top steak houses in the big city, but the marble was pretty decent. The execution was excellent. The medium was there. One of the medallion pieces between the fat was almost mignon quality. I like to do this self-baked potato in this way you are not on the merxy of the server whim it comes to the ratio of chive acid cream and bacon bit or butter. What was expected was the chef Spargel. Its crispy and season with cherry tomatoes in a vinaigrette. Beautiful and crispy and it is the thin spear instead of the big fat stems that are usually too fibrous. The only one is again the coating is very old and the 2 onion rings. Come on, I'm not a kid, why should I want the onion ring on my steak? Give me a grill onion or just leave a perfect steak alone. Anyway, it was under 60 for two of us. The service is excellent and very competent staff.
Hole in the wall. You need to sit back in amazement when you are able to enjoy a meal like those I did tonight. When you come by the fact that the restaurant is embedded in an outdated motel on the outskirts of Hobbs, NM and prepare for a unique thinning experience, you will be pleasantly surprised. The service is top notch and the cook (yes I said cook and not cook) are very nice. The chef’s chef’s chef’s chef’s chef’s chef’s chef’s chef’s chef’s chef’s chef’s chef’s chef’s chef’s chef’s chef’s chef’s chef is in the dining room so you can see how he prepares your food while you wait. I would recommend the sharp potato soup. I didn't see it on the menu, but I saw another poster recommending it on another website and just had to try it. It was worth the request. The doors open at 5 pm, so get there early or you will wait for a table.
