Asian Room - Hobart

We had our first dinner in Hobart at this charming restaurant and were pleasantly surprised, considering it's located in a casino. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. We opted for the banquet, which was a great way to sample a variety of dishes. The eye fillet and salt and pepper squid were particular standouts, and the fried ice cream was a delicious way to end the meal.

I highly recommend visiting this charming restaurant at Wrest Point in Hobart. The service is outstanding, our waiter Kwan (also known as Karen) was delightful and genuinely concerned about our dining experience. The food is exceptional – every dish we tried was delicious and simply melted in our mouths. This was one of the best meals we have had in a long time. I cannot recommend it enough!

Beautiful food, great service and a view to die for. If you want to feel a little bit special, do yourself a favour and dine in at Kwan Ho resteraunt at Wrest Point. We couldn't wait to taste our meals, so they're not looking as pretty as they did when they first arrived, but believe me they were delicious.

Food is delicious and the the view is stunning. The staff are absolutely amazing too, such a friendly bunch. I can't understand why people would go to the bistro for a basic schnitzel and chips when the food here is so good.
