Lokken Strandgaard - Hjoerring

A hot recommendation. Good Danish food for the whole family. You don’t go hungry from there and the wallet it also has good afterwards.

In connection with a round birthday we held in the rented holiday house, we had ordered food out of the house from Restaurant Løkken Strandgård to 8 people as a buffet. We got 3 starters, fish dish, tunmousse and tarts with hens in asparagus, flutes and butter. Then 3 main dishes, lamb curl, beef filet and mørbradbøffer with mushroom sauce. In addition, we got cream potatoes with herbs, seasonal vegetables and broccoli salad. Finally 2 desserts which were homemade ice cream and cheese cake. Everything was well tasted, tasty, nicely spicy, enjoyed and what should be cold, was cold and it was warm even after 1 hour in the thermobox. There was absolutely plenty of everything and even if we had been 10 people, we had enough not to eat. We had 2 small things that could have been better: the two cold starters were forgotten at pick-up in the first place, so we had to leave again. The other was the beef filet, which was exactly fried but something cool to chew. Here a little better quality meat could be in its place. Overall, it was a very good experience at a very reasonable price.

We were a family of 13 who visited this lovely restaurant 2 times. We had no expectations at all but we were well enough surprised. Super good service and the waiters had control of all our orders even though we were so many. There was always a focus on whether we lacked something and the youngs had fun in their play corner. The food was amazing both 1 and 2 times we were there and prices are more than fair. Huge recommendation

We got Take Away and there were lots of food for the whole family and tasted delicious. Can definitely recommend the place!
