Icchan Hon-ten - Hiroshima

Very healthy and super delicious! Chef Ishii is an amazing storyteller Hiroshima Okonomiyaki has a deep story when they developed this kitchen after the bomb. Eating brings people together and he believes that Okonomiyaki can bring peace to this world. Recommend the seat in front of the grill. Just amazing.

Fun and delicious. The staff was super cool, so two big dummy americans swing to the hob. Had English menus and even a lesson how to eat the okonomyaki. For a cheap culinary experience this was definitely a good thing. I was happy about this place.

My geniunely after walking to this dining area changed and completely my perspective on how delicious Hiroshima cuisine can really be. I'd go back there. I love Japan

Once I mentioned my sister was vegetarian, the staff were extremely accommodating and gave her a different bottle of okonomiyaki sauce. Obviously, the batter most likely has fish stock in it already, but it's the effort that counts. The friendliness of the chefs made for a very enjoyable dining experience. Non-vegetarian recommendation: the grilled Hiroshima oysters were delish.
