A 1 Pizza - Hinsdale

I'm dropping my four-star rating to one star after my last trip where they knowingly stole from me, with a smile. I questioned the higher than normal price without looking at the receipt because I hadn't gotten it yet. They said no, it was the right price. I paid, got the receipt and saw an extra topping, and they insisted it was still the right price. Disgruntled, when I got home I looked at the receipt again and saw it was worse than I thought. My two one-topping chicken pizzas with Alfredo sauce (instead of tomato sauce) had each magically turned into three toppings: chicken, chicken, Alfredo. My third pizza, a pepperoni with Alfredo, they charged me for two toppings. He knew full well what he was charging when I questioned him. I was a regular, and this is not the first time I was overcharged, I discovered in going back through charges. I'd noticed the prices were more than I used to shell out for 3-4 pizzas, but this last time was the first time I questioned it directly. All other times I was in a rush to get pizza back to hungry family and figured because of their friendliness I was just mis-remembering. Sadly, I'm not the only one in the family who has been overcharged in completely disconnected meals. My daughter had complained in passing just the week before about a wrong order and charge. It disgusts me how a business owner can look his customer in the eye, knowing he's overcharging them, and lie about it directly to their face while smiling. This doesn't even touch on the issue we had the week before where they made completely the wrong pizza and they called me a liar and wouldn't correct it until my husband called them back and said we were bringing it back and to fix it. Maybe they were trying to make up their money's worth on us for their error this next time. I guess those free small cheese pizzas all that time with a family size pizza really never were free. We won't be back. Be wary: They did it to us, some of their best customers. Don't let their surface friendliness fool you into thinking they won't try to overcharge you too.

This place is awful, just keep on heading to Brattleboro or up to keene if in need of pizza. It's the kind of pizza place that when you ask for a side of marinara with a calzone, it's a meat based sauce. Watching my wife choke that up was wonderful, thanks for the memories A-1!

Friendly staff. The fried pickles are delicious. Quick service. Girlfriend got the steak and cheese grinder and said it was excellent.

Awesome food, love the steak and cheese grinders here. The owner who takes the orders is very lively. If your easily rubbed the wrong way this is not the place for you.

Just like the one in Winchester. Don't go there the food is nasty and overpriced. Greasy pizza worst around. Go buy a frozen pizza you will be doing yourself a huge favor.
