Groby Chinese Takeaway

Absolutely awful the chicken was like rubber couldn’t even chew it had chicken fried rice and chicken chow mein didn’t even taste right so straight in the dustbin should of taken it back but didn’t £14 down the drain..!!!!said on the phone they were new owners it took 10 minutes to work out the price we got to pay so clearly don’t know what they doing ….won’t be visiting again anytime soon….and warn people not too it’s just not nice …!!!!!!!!

Not been to this once excellent take away for a couple of years. Will never go again. Guy on the phone was rude taking our order , should have known at that point. Told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Arrived at the time advised only to be told it wasn't ready, had to wait a further 20 minutes and wish we hadn't bothered. Egg fried rice was a strange brown colour and lumped together like a brick. No idea how old it was or how many times it had been reheated. House special curry was a gelatinous blob with very little meat in it. Vegetable noodles in oyster sauce was watery and tasteless. Chips looked to be of the frozen variety and were soggy, chewy and cold all at the same time, quite an achievement. Absolutely the worst Chinese takeaway I've ever had. Save your money and go to the co-op round the corner for a ready meal, even a pot noodle would be better than this offering ZERO STARS

Not that great I'm afraid. the egg fried rice was stodgy (seriously, how can you need such a simple thing up), the chicken balls were over done and there was a stingy amount of chicken in the chicken and cashew dish. the aromatic crispy duck was, however, lovely, and the chicken and cashew dish was also tasty. the service was quick and friendly. the new management needs to find some new chefs; their reputation is bad and getting worse it seems.

It’s recently re opened with new owners and I thought I’d give it a go as I was sure I wouldn’t be as bad as last time how wrong I was. It was garbage I went and got my money back. The ribs…the dog wouldn’t even eat them. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME THEY ARE CLUELESS.

Wanted a delivered meal but unfortunately no deliveries. Decided to collect but when we got there cards are not accepted. Walked around to eventually find a cash machine to collect an average meal.
