Vine - Hilton Head Island

They didn’t have our reservation and tried to seat us outside!

Always a great pleasure to dine at Vine. Osso Bucco and Duck tonight. Both great.

Great food and chef and our waiter was so wonderful! The butter fish does melt in your mouth!

We have gone to Vine often and up until last night could only rave about the food. Last night was decidedly different. The preparation was marginal and some classic dishes that have been on the menu forever were unrecognizable. The service was excellent as always, but the kitchen did not perform. Maybe they have a new chef?

Very unique appetizers which were excellent. Presentation was very good also. Food was great. Pricy restaurant but the amount of food for both appetizers and dinner made it a fair value. The wine we chose (merlot) was too pricy, $16 a glass for a bottle that retails for $16.
