Fish House Cafe - Hilo

My wife loves this place absolutely. In restaurants near shops near Hilo Bay there are very little Dine. That's good. It does not have the hole in the wall/dive feel like most, and it also offers some quite unique food options. I recommend her seafood pasta dishes. The fish is fresh and delicious. They also make a beautiful juicy burger. So it is a pretty safe place for the less adventurous too. You have a full bar and some fun cocktails. I personally like to kick out with a cookie and drinks as an appetizer. The waiting staff is super friendly, and our water glasses have been refilled repeatedly, so it is also a great place to hydrate in shops after an afternoon of kick.

We had a great time here, but the food was cut too much for my son. He's 7. My wife and I loved everything, including the burger my son was not interested in. The burger was seasoned with many herbs we liked, but just a little too much for my son. The volcanic fog salad is to die for... Can't wait to go back and have this back

Good food and fast service. Loved the garlic bread served soft and hot. Pizza was very delicious and with crushed red peppers; it hit the place. Pasta had a lot of taste, but I personally felt it could have been cooked a little longer. Overall, I would recommend if you wanted an Italian food. Cheers! Aloha.

Very good service. Nice drink. The seafood Medley risotto was absolutely delicious, could have used a bit more lobster in it however. Very recommended and I would definitely return. Come there early because they fill up quickly.

LOVED IT! Delicious! It's a little pricey but I loved all my food. I got the Heritage Pork bolognese and it was really good. The Korean Cream Cheese Garlic Bread was to die for. My friend was not impressed with her Seafood Medley, but mine was so good, I am not taking away points for that.
