Amigos Taqueria - Hilo

I was pleasantly surprised with the Tacos! It took a little long to make, but it was worth waiting!

I got tacos from here the other night on March 10, 2022, before heading back to Kona. I ordered carne asada, pollo, and carnitas. Everyone in the car agreed that the tacos were fantastic. I enjoyed mine 1.5 hours later, and they were still delicious. The prices were reasonable, and the order was ready on time. Great job!

WOW! This place offers some of the best authentic Mexican food I’ve ever tasted! We tried a bit of everything, and it was all fantastic! The meals are healthy and reasonably priced. If you’re looking to eat healthier, these dishes are not fried! The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, and the restaurant was spotlessly clean. Located in downtown Hilo, it's surrounded by a variety of restaurants from around the world. Parking is available just across the main street from the entrance. If you’re in the Hilo area, you must visit Amigo's Taqueria! Just a note: "Taqueria" refers to a Mexican restaurant that specializes in tacos and burritos! I give it a solid five out of five stars!

We enjoyed some delicious Mexican food at a reasonable price. We stopped in for a quick lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegetarian options available. The menu allows you to customize your meal with different types of meat or tofu, as well as additional sauces. Our food was served promptly, and the service was friendly. We would definitely eat here again!
