Bidra med feedbackNicely spaced tables and cushy booths. Friendly though skeletal staff. In the rear is a small bar which attracts locals. The food is delicious and affordable. Parking in paved lot around the restaurant. Bathroom narrow yet clean.
Went out of our way to go here on the way to NJ because menu said it had gluten free pasta. We tried to order it and was surprised when the server said that they had not had gluten free pasta in this location for a long long time, and they didn't know why it was still on the menu. Food we did get was okay, but not great, especially for the price.
So, I havent been to this restaurant in about 25 years or so, was excited to revisit as an adult and see how good my memory was... First thing to say, the food was very good, medium pizza, half cheese and half pepperoni. Excellent. Also had the Antipasto Salad, was also very good. One thing to note, the water is some of the worst tasting water I have ever had. Get a purifier! The problems are not the food, or the staff (young blonde girl was very polite and responsive), but the place needs a makeover.. badly. I swear it was literally the same tables and chairs from about 30 years ago... and they are in tatters. The place seems dirty. My young girls kept needing to change tables due to each one we were seated at having crumbs all over the booth seats. Not to mention, a lot of the chairs and benches are ripped and/or taped over with a red type of duct tape. My shorts were literally sticking to the tape on the booth. Very unpleasant and made me want to get out of there. Also, the bathrooms are horrible. So, to sum it up, the food is great (the water is horrible) and it seems extremely dated and needs cleaning.
Cheesy pizza and very tasty. The restaurant reminded me of my grandparents pizzeria and brought childhood memories. The service was very good and the food was delicious.
Good food at good value! Mostly American fare with some Greek items on the menu. About five beers on tap, and several others in cans or bottles (Including local microbrews). Very friendly older waitress. Bar in back. Bulletin board for local news in the vestibule, along with coin-operated vending machines. Pay-phone on the wall by the bathroom, and in the bathroom is some old coin-operated vending machine. Several prepared foodstuffs are available for retail purchase. No wi-fi! Abundant parking in the lot out front.
