Jay's Chicken Shack LLC - Hillsborough

I got a Chuck-Wagen sandwich combo and my Bf got fried chicken gizzards and fried pickles. Fresh and even bite was delicious. The staff is so friendly and I even ran into a girl I worked with and saw in 11 years!!! 10/10!

Hands down to eat one of my favorite places when I'm in Hillsborough. At first, this place and one of several amazing employees, Dana, met when I worked a few years on a job site down on the street. I missed the food and smile, so I went to the birthday breakfast. Dana always makes it perfect for my preferences. Thank you for the amazing food and great service every time!

Delicious roasted chicken meat, perfectly seasoned, generous pieces, not greasy. A wide range of herbal options and large southern desserts are more than you expect. The shop is warm and secret. It is a great place to order for large groups. The staff is super friendly. Say hello to Lamont, the chef!

Collards were great! Nice smoke taste. Crispy chicken well seasoned, pork ribs juicy and tasteful. Unfortunately I got two of the lace pieces, lots of meat, but almost no bones. Peach Cobbler should be made at home, it was, but made with cans peaches. Very reasonable and good value.

This is my first time ordering from Jay's Chicken Shack. I ordered the chicken liver combo with gravy, onions, coleslaw and sweet tea. Let me tell you. . . this is the BEST chicken liver meal I have ever had. The food is seasoned to perfection, the coleslaw is blended perfectly and homemade. I didn't have to put any salt, pepper, hot sauce or anything on the food. This man can cook!!!! I plan to try everything on the menu. I recommend this place, it is the best hands down.
