TRADICIÓN MEXICANA CON MENÚ SECRETO Dinora and Librado have been running this restaurant for 16 years now. As Mexicans, it’s hard to pick a place you’d call “our family tradition” since you want it with good food and strong commitment to service. This is it for us. One of the typical features that tells you it's a Mexican restaurant owned by Mexicans and operated by Mexicans is the FREE UNLIMITED CHIPS and refried beans or salsa as an appetizer. You can find original Mexican cuisine taste Like the Grilled Molcajete for $17.50, where 2 people can share) or if you are new to Mexican cuisine, they also have dishes for people new to Mexican cuisine Like the Spinach Enchilada for $10). Almost all entrees are served with a large portion of refried beans and rice, sharing a plate wouldn't be a bad idea. There’s a secret menu and I highly recommend the “Camarones Monterrey” $18.50) for about 8 prawns wrapped in bacon and covered in Chihuahua cheese with some poco de gallo. #ruizmedina

First visit: I really enjoyed the ambiance and food preparation. I went there for dinner. Second visit: I returned for lunch and ordered two chicken tacos, three enchiladas, and camarones al mojo de ajo. The food was delicious, and the service was great.

The Mexican food here is perfectly acceptable. The margaritas have quite a bit of mixer, so I recommend ordering an extra shot to enhance the flavor.

The Happy Hour menu is excellent, available daily from 3 to 6 PM. There are more than a dozen food options, and the drink specials are fantastic. Just be aware that the drinks are much larger than you might expect! It's a great value for the money.

I ordered the Carne Asada plate, and it was delicious. However, I also tried the shrimp tostada as an appetizer, and it wasn't as impressive. In fact, they served both dishes at the same time...
