Larkspur Landing Hillsboro

I ended up staying here for one night while passing through town and overall it was okay for that length of time. Pros: ~Very friendly staff ~Affordable ~Room is clean and the added appliances were nice ~Location-easy access to freeway and in and around Portland area ~Free breakfast in the morning Cons: ~Air conditioner unit didn't work that great. Clicked on and off all night and when it was off it was HOT! ~Breakfast was just mediocre ~Bed was uncomfortable Overall, I give it 3 stars.

Very politely n quietly went to front desk after day 1 (of 3) the pull out sofa cannot b slept on. Very old bars come thru mattress so my 56 year old brother slept on the floor. We went down for breakfast 8am (says served til 9am) all food gone. Maybe 1 spoon remaining of watery eggs, 5 pieces of links, pancakes gone, milk gone, several people complaining. Td is Saturday morning. Spoke with front desk, said he called management, nothing they will do. Thus this review.

Everything in this hotel could improve. Let's start with the bed it's the worst quality to sleep in the bed is so lumpy it hurts to sleep on it. The fridge makes so much noise nightly. You are limited to watch only 40 channels. To top it off you could hear everything between the rooms. If you have people above you who stomp super loud there's no way the property will do something or say anything. Not a good place to stay at all.

Stayed for four nights. Older hotel needs renovation and the morning breakfast is hardly worth the walk downstairs. On the weekend a sign magically appeared that no hot food on the weekends. In general, smelled musty, cleaned rooms every other day and had to even request it be cleaned. TV channels very limited (Direct TV least expensive package), Make sure you have transportation as nothing to see, eat, or do in the immediate area. Look elsewhere!

I had a pleasant stay. Jason at the front desk was efficient and provided great service. The room was clean and comfortable. Chairs in the breakfast area need re-seating (they kinda sag). Overall, I felt safe and had a uneventful stay!
