So when those 'curry in a jar ' isn 't happening for you and all you want is to sink your teeth into a lamb curry, butter chicken, soft naan and Anthony else you can get your hands on, I 'd highly recommend Secrets of India. Me -being a an Indian myself (and an amazing cook) can say that this place will satisfy your taste buds with its large variety of GOOD Indian food and at very good portion sizes! Food is amazing -unsure about staff as I 've only ordered takeout!

The curry at this restaurant was delicious with generously sized portions. It was so yummy and satisfying. I was prompted to write more words on TripAdvisor, so this additional sentence is unnecessary.

Unfortunately, this restaurant is no longer open. A new establishment has replaced it, but I have not had the chance to try it yet. The previous restaurant had good food, but the service was extremely slow. There were instances where we waited as long as an hour and a half for our meals. It's no surprise that it eventually closed down.

We were very disappointed after our first visit some months ago but were persuaded by friends to try again. Once again very slow service despite the lack of customers and the food seemed to take forever to be served. I was very disappointed in the chicken tikka which was absolutely smothered in onions on an almost 2:1 ratio. Chicken seemed over cooked and a little tough. They just seem to go through the motions of running a restaurant without the real enthusiasm shown in many other Indian restaurants. Unlikely to return given the many choices in the area.

At first glance, this restaurant may not seem like much and it was kept a secret. However, once you step inside, you will find that it is incredibly spacious and you will receive a warm greeting from the staff, and if you're lucky, one of the owners named Nico. The menu is extensive and full of flavor, thanks to the talented chef who can handle such a diverse menu and still offer made-to-order dishes. The main course portions are generous, making it a great option for takeout as well. The staff were very accommodating when we wanted to customize our meal. Overall, the service was excellent and the staff were incredibly friendly. I will definitely not be keeping this restaurant in West London a secret!
