Kobe Sushi - Hillarys

I can only assume that this is not the traditional Teriyaki recipe when we travel and see a Japanese restaurant or food dish provider, we try the Teriyaki fish and chicken and it is never as delicious as Kobe Sushi version. I'm...mystified that the person who had written the negative comment is 'sauce' with him the dish is made with sauce and the only thing we ever add is Chili flakes available on the counter to help themselves free. As regular patrons we find the owners and employees very friendly and the service is always fast. We occasionally had sushi and it is always freshly made, comes with soy and wasabi and extras can be bought if needed. We find it difficult to taste any of the other dishes because the Teriyaki is so good that we always have the Teriyaki Bento (with REALLY fresh salad and rice), so I can not comment on the Don Buri or other dishes, but the Teriyaki chicken is always crispy skin, boneless and juicy, and the fish is sweet and tender and perfect with a lighter coating of a boiled type.

The service was poor and the food quality was just okay. The staff seemed more interested in getting our money than providing good customer service. I highly recommend avoiding this place. We ordered a Teriyaki dish and were disappointed to find it was served without any sauces. When we asked for sauce, they demanded an additional fee. I suggest finding another restaurant to dine at.

I have been dining at this Food Hall establishment in Whitfords City for more than 20 years. The reason they have succeeded while others have failed is simply because their food is excellent. My top choices are the Chicken Katsu Don and Beef Gyudon. The Tempura dishes never disappoint. I always opt for the freshly prepared dishes, so I cannot comment on the others.

Donburi for lunch. I'll never eat here again. He waited for 20 minutes for a bowl of rice and oily Teriyaki beef. Waiting time was terrible. Presentation was terrible. The food was terrible.

This business has been here for years, just moved locations due to renovations for cinemas, most dishes besides the sushi are made to order so always fresh, service is good.
