DORFKRUPPE WITH NEW CONZEPT The fact that gastronomy is again affected by a “lockdown” is annoying enough. Michael Wille, head of the well-known “Dorfkrug Bavenstedt” beyond Hildesheim’s borders, has reacted with a promising concept to the new boundaries. If you order by phone or e-mail, you will receive the dish in a cooking bag that is brought to temperature at home in 90° hot water. The finished dishes come hot on the plate and can thus fully unfold their delicious taste. Michael Wille doesn't make great advertising for his concept. Already over twelve years ago he created a distributor and informed his regular guests about the current collection offer in the newsletter. This also applies to his new programme. The vacuum device and also the wake-up glasses for precooking and storing food have been used for years.
Staff is very attentive and the food is top-class. Slow food prepared from master hand. Nu the ambiance seems a little rusty. A renovation would be appropriate, then 5 stars.
We ate very well in the village rug in Bavenstedt. All dishes have tasted excellent. The wine was also very good. The service was friendly and we didn't have to wait long between the individual corridors. The restaurant was well filled so it was good to reserve the table before. Very good value for money. We'll be back. Clear recommendation!
Down from the highway, seen village rug and eaten a wonderfully good sour meat with roast potatoes. Absolutely recommended. Thank you.
