Have dinner again at Da Domenico. Clearly 5 stars for food, ambience and staff. Not only Francesco but all the staff, attentive and friendly. Two years ago we were in this restaurant, now we wanted to try it again together with a friendly couple. When booking by phone, we asked for a quiet table that was known to us, but we would have to hear that there are only two tables. On our arrival we were kindly greeted and asked why one cannot put two tables together and see the miracle happened: one could build a four table from two tables within seconds. The menu was enough for us and we were asked for drinks: 3 Prosecco (5.50€, Cola (0.2L 2,20€ and Pellegrino Medium (0.75l). 5,00€ These came after a short time, were given wordless so that we can put them on the table. I know about Kantinen and the Hofbräuhaus, the procedure was amazed here. Other dishes can be found on various wall panels and on a daily map. The usual pizzas and pasta dishes are offered, but also foods that are pleasantly different from other restaurants. The prices for the foods are in the normal range, while I think the beverage prices are very ambitious. Ambience: after cultivation there are about 100 guests. The facility is more quality and cozy than with many other Italian restaurants in our area. On the tables are candlesticks, balsamico and high-quality oil and a salt or pepper mill. Around 30 guests were present in the evening. Food: Shortly after our order the wordless waiter came and put freshly baked bread, tuna cream and olives on our table. And not where one expects it to be a guest, but where he has just found space. The bread and cream were very good. The appetizers came after a short waiting period. We had an antipasto Misto dish (11,50€ : paprika, Schovis, caprese, fried mushrooms, dried tomatoes, squid salad, olives and zucchini. Tastefully well and discreetly processed with garlic. Our friends got Carpaccio (10,90€) and were clearly satisfied with it. In the meantime we stopped the waiter to order further drinks we order Montepulciano (0.2l. 7.40€). Too bad that the wine glass was not calibrated and I doubt that really 0.2l was present. The wine was good, but no summit. After another pleasant break the main foods came back to our table without words: Linguine with Sampi and Mullet (13.90€). Linguine homemade and al dente, the 6 scampi slightly small but with herbs in the pan, and all in a light sauce, prepared from fresh tomatoes, garlic (Fishfond? and high quality oil. This dish is really recommended, the part sufficient. Finally a strong espresso (2,20€ and Averna (3,90€ service: The absolute weakness of this restaurant. One waiter speechless, the other vocabulary. For this purpose our main skeleton is merciful and not customer-oriented. Drinks and plates are served and not placed by it. Ask if it tastes, he tries to replace with mimic. My wine glass is served with fully sticky feet, which averna ordered came with completely different filling levels. The payment process went fast. Actually, I would have to forgive a star because he opened his mouth and asked the question of a drink to the house, he fought a second star. Price /Performance: absolutely fine for the quality of food, I find the beverage prices very high. Cleanliness: The toilet was very clean, even in the restaurant area everything was fine. I have not made any pictures of the food regarding our friends. There will be a longer period before we return here. This is only due to the poor service. Because of the kitchen, I'd be back next week. Conclusion on the overall impression: 3 if it results (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it results again, 4 – happy again, 5 – definitely back to the kitchen
