Bidra med feedbackMissing NY pizza? Well, not anymore!!! This place seems like it's a small family owned business. I tried plain cheese and margarita pie, both of them were out of the world..definitely reminded of NY. The quality of food and pick up time was very accurate. Prices are reasonable for central jersey area. Only giving 4/5 review since the place is very small and can get packed in weekend otherwise, I would love to eat at their location in person.
Lovely unassuming restaurant serving up simple yet tasty Italian and Mediterranean dishes. The restaurant is quite small, and I can imagine this spot getting a lot busier during peak dinner hours. Each dish has generous portion sizes, and all the entrees come with a salad (something I rarely see restaurants offer anymore). In addition to that, service was excellent plates were cleared and new side plates were refreshed twice; water was never empty...we really couldn't have asked for better service for this casual meal! Good food, great service. My parents are already planning their return!
You know when you meet your soulmate and you simply cannot believe how you lived without them for so long? Well, that's precisely how I feel about Aposto. I'm slightly tempted to try to make up for lost time by visiting daily, but I know my waist would not be happy about that. But seriously, how have I lived so close but missed out on this gem of a restaurant for so much of my life?! We had such a pleasant experience here last Friday night. The service was wonderful; although every table was filled in this sweet little restaurant, we weren't rushed in the slightest. Oh and the sweet cherry on top? It's BYOB! We ordered the pizza and pasta, which were both remarkably delectable! We ordered two classics margarita pie and penne alla vodka. When eyeballing the pizza, it looked good, but then you took a bite and realize that this is not just your ordinary pizza. The pizza was thin yet crispy with the perfect sauce to cheese to bread ratio cooked to perfection. Soo good! The penne alla vodka was nothing less. Coming from someone who doesn't even like pasta, I loved this dish. The pink sauce on the penne took my palate to a new level creamy, flavorful, and delicious! This is THE ONE&ONLY restaurant in NJ where I thoroughly enjoyed the pasta and will come back for.
Simplistic yet delicious. People think you really can't screw up Italian dishes (i.e. pasta) but let me tell you...that's a lie. But the total opposite is the case for Aposto. Options are extensive and unique making the decision on what to order fairly difficult. The server we had was warm and kind, taking the extra time to make recommendations and check on us periodically throughout the night. The eggplant parmesan was absolutely delicious. From the free warm bread to the entrees you can tell that each dish is made and served with care. Homemade taste for sure and makes you feel right at home. Lovely spot for a date, yet the place itself is a bit small in size. Luckily, with the warm weather, we got to opt for outdoor seating which made the overall experience that much better. Dinner here sealed the deal for me, now it's just time to go for lunch!
Good place for fresh food and a pretty big menu. We went as a family and had beet salad, chicken parm, chicken piccata, and the penne meditareo. Chicken parm was a huge portion served with spaghetti and tomato sauce. The chicken was good but everything got really soggy. Piccata was good and could've used a little more tangy flavor. Medtareo had a kick with a tasty sauce. All entrees came with a salad and warm bread. We will be back and try new things.
